Teen Patti house rules to agree before the first deal
Five minutes of agreement prevents most ranking and action disputes later.

Direct answer: Before playing Teen Patti, agree the A-K-Q/A-2-3 sequence order, exact-tie method, whether suits break ties, who may request a sideshow, when a final show is allowed, and how virtual chips reset. Keep the session adult-only and no-cash; do not add rules after cards are seen.
Pre-deal agreement card
| Decision | Options to state | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Sequence order | A-K-Q then A-2-3, or another declared convention | Stops run disputes |
| Exact tie | Split, redeal, or named suit order | Avoids hidden tiebreakers |
| Sideshow | Seen-only eligibility, accept/refuse outcome | Clarifies private comparison |
| Show | Last-two timing and cost | Separates show from sideshow |
| Session chips | Virtual, non-transferable, no cash value | Keeps practice social |
Table conduct
Deal clockwise under the chosen convention, wait for your turn, keep folded cards private, and do not pressure a beginner to raise. If a player needs a rules check, pause the round rather than changing the answer mid-hand.
App practice
Compare the room's help text with the agreement card. If the APK uses a different A-2-3 or sideshow rule, follow the visible app rule for that practice room or choose another mode. Never infer cash value from virtual-chip totals.

Pagat's rule page documents common play and multiple variation points. The checklist converts those variable points into a clear adult social agreement.
